The risks associated with climate change for economies are real and imminent, as no country today is immune to the impact of climate change. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Part of the solution to reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere is to capture these emissions from industrial processes and fuel combustion and store them underground - a process known as CO2 geological capture and storage (CCS).<\/p>\n

Therefore,<\/strong> the strategic importance of CCS in a future with net-zero emissions is clear. <\/strong>este clar\u0103.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But what is the development potential of this technology in Romania? <\/strong>A study conducted for the Oil and Gas Employers' Federation (FPPG) by a consortium of consulting firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) and the think tank Energy Policy Group (EPG) provides answers.<\/p>\n
